William (Bob) Mark began working for FSCJ as an adjunct instructor in 1995, and became the Instructional Program Manager for the Culinary program thirteen years ago. He has over 30 years experience in the culinary and hospitality fields.

After graduating from college, Bob worked in San Francisco and New Orleans before moving to Jacksonville in 1974. Here in town he has worked for Victoria Station restaurants and the Jacksonville Hilton, owned and operated a gourmet French restaurant (rated 4 stars by the Jacksonville Times-Union), and ran an off-premise catering business for thirteen years.

Bob holds a degree in Education from Shippensburg University, PA; a Hotel Restaurant Management degree from Cornell University; and a master’s degree in Business from Webster University. He serves on the North Florida Hotel & Lodging Association Board scholarship committee and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association Board of Directors, as well as on advisory committees for several high school culinary and hospitality programs.
