Tameiko Allen Grant began working for FSCJ as the Program Coordinator of the 21st Century Academy Grant at North Campus in 2013. In her current position as Associate Academic Dean of Career Education at South Campus, her primary focuses are Public Safety, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Fire Science and Adult Education. She also serves as an adjunct instructor and has over 12 years of experience in academic administration.

Tameiko discovered a passion for teaching during law school and later worked as an adjunct professor of Paralegal Studies. Shortly thereafter, she transitioned to administration.

She is a proud magna cum laude graduate of Savannah State University, where she attended on a full basketball scholarship. She holds a Bachelors in Criminal Justice, a Masters in Criminal Justice, and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of North Florida and a Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Community College Leadership at Old Dominion University. She and her husband have one son and two stepdaughters.
