Communication and Technology Network intern

Prior FSCJ student promoted and now an internship opportunity for another network intern. This is a paid internship $9 to $15 an hour. Here is a description:

As a Technology designer (Intern), you will gain a deep knowledge of drafting and designing the gamut of technology systems in a building, such as: Voice/Data, Professional Audio/Visual, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Networking, Paging, Sound Reinforcement, Nurse Call, and other rapidly changing technologies. You will work to provide unique and dynamic technology and industry specific solutions that change from project to project.

Some of the duties/tasks are listed below:
Develop building technology systems, including Audiovisual, Telecommunications and Electronic Security systems.
Will work in tandem with project lead in product research and review to meet client and project requirements
· Grow an understanding of how to read plans and specifications
· Become familiar with design and construction processes
· Review and understand building codes and industry standards
· Performs AutoCAD/Revit system design and documentation
· Performs engineering calculations and equipment selection
· Develops drawings, manages drawing changes, and coordinates technology systems components with the architecture, internal and external engineering disciplines
