There currently exists an opportunity for students to participate in local Internships and/or part-time employment with a Talent Management software company headquartered in Jacksonville, FL. Talent Management is comprised of all modules to manage an employee lifecycle (performance management, training, career planning) and is one of the fastest growing markets in the business applications market.
This company is seeking to hire a student to assist in developing enhancements to our Talent Management Software Suite.
Location: 315 E. Bay Street, Downtown Jacksonville.
Term: This opportunity is effective immediately and is expected to minimally extend through the spring semester.
Primary Duties include:
Design and develop complex web application components.
Translate functional requirements and high-level design of components and modules into a developed and tested, multi-tier solution, including user interface, business logic and database.
Implement solutions on the Microsoft .NET platform, within an existing application development framework.
Technologies used:
PHP, Ruby on Rails, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML/Javascript/CSS, Understanding of OOA/OOD
Experience with other technologies such as ColdFusion, Silverlight, etc are encouraged as well as we are currently evaluating technologies for a new product.
