Duties and responsibilities for the IT Product Quoting Specialist include:
• Review client goals and requirements to determine appropriate product solutions for their needs.
• Perform research on specific details of various products, services or technologies that may be required.
• Prepare professional quotes or recommendations for clients to be discussed with clients (typical products are computers, network equipment, servers, software licensing, labor services, etc.).
• Place orders with vendors for all products once they’re approved by the client.
• Work collaboratively with internal team to handle client’s fast-paced needs and short deadlines.
• Instill confidence for customers through clear and effective communication.
Qualifications for the IT Product Quoting Specialist include:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience assisting clients with computer/technology related purchases.
•Familiarity with IT products (such as computers, routers, firewalls, network equipment, servers, etc.).
•Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work well under pressure.
•Authorization to work in the United States
•$13- $18 per hour compensation, commensurate with experience
