LSF Health Systems is currently seeking student interns to join their Data/IT Department.
Student interns will have the opportunity to participate in the following essential functions:
- Reviewing wide range of interpretive analysis tools (e.g. trend analysis, spreadsheets comparisons, graphs, summary versus detail charts, drill down, correlations, exception analysis.
- Developing reports in SQL, reporting tools (such as Crystal, Access, Excel, etc.)
- Developing requirements and delivering projects in a direct working relationship with the Director of Data Analytics.
- Developing complex SQL scripts, views and stored procedures.
- Conducting SQL tuning and data profiling.
- Developing detailed reports, graphical representations and narrative summaries to illustrate service array, community need, fiscal allocation and utilization for twenty-three Florida Counties in the Northeast Region.
- Extracting and analyzing data from multiple sources including Access databases, the LSF Health Systems database, manual reporting spreadsheets, research report analytics and external reporting materials.
- Consolidating provider agency data for state reporting requirements on an ongoing basis.
- Supporting data validation for invoicing to ensure accuracy and appropriate billing.
- Conducting reconciliations between assorted reporting and data sources to ensure continuity and accuracy.
- Providing on-site IT support to the LSF Health Systems team.
