Job Description:

Crowley is seeking an exceptional student to work part-time in our fast-paced and exciting Process Engineering Department! This is an excellent opportunity for a student seeking approximately 20 hours per week to advance their business skills.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the setup and design of new and existing SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online business and team sites throughout the company.
  • Working with end users regarding any issues with their SharePoint sites and coaching the users on best practices and site management through the use of the Office 365 suite of products.
  • Developing wireframes and prototypes of proposed designs for Process Engineering solutions, when needed.
  • Assisting in the development of new solutions and process improvements through the use of various Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Nintex Forms, Nintex Workflows and SharePoint.
  • Conducting user research to identify opportunities for improvements to existing tools and applications, when needed.

Other special requirements:

This position will involve interaction with internal and external customers at all levels.  We are seeking an articulate individual with a professional appearance and demeanor; someone that will serve as a true extension of the department. This position will also require basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.  Proficiency in wireframing tools and design software is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communcation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript

 We specialize in the current trend of Home Automation, and Video surveillance (CCTV). We are based in Jacksonville, FL and travel to job sites in Duval, St. Johns, Nassau and Clay counties. We are licensed electricians, and install the latest smart home technologies residentially, and Video Surveillance residentially, as well as, commercially. Once our products are installed, we network them all together into an easy to use App, that is accessible from a phone, wall mounted tablet, or voice activated. Our company is setup into two employment types, electrical and networking. Our electrical arm is the team that actually installs the products, our networking arm then comes in behind to network each of the products together. We are currently hiring the later in a part time role. We are looking to move fairly quickly, as we have a few jobs lined up and would love to get someone in ASAP. This position is paid, and we are more than happy to discuss compensation with any of the candidates.

 Specifically, we are looking to hire any IT students or professionals, who has knowledge in the Internet of Things type category. We do also require a minimal understanding of router programming, and port forwarding, but the main focus will be on programming and linking a number of different Home Automation products and Systems. We have all training materials necessary, and the ability to provide training courses online as well.
