Auditmacs is willing to take unpaid interns for PC and mobile device repair. Hours are negotiable, but normally start anywhere from 7am to 9am and end by 4 or 6pm.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, configure, and support the FDOT ITS Network including LAN, WAN, and internet systems.
• Maintain network and workstation hardware and software
• Maintain network availability to users and systems connected to the ITS Network
• Provide support for ITS Network Managers as directed

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Windows workstation/server support and maintenance
• Knowledge of networking systems and protocols
• Good understanding of IP addressing and TCP/IP networking

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Windows Active Directory/Domain support & administration
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems
• Experience with system virtualization design and implementation
• Knowledge of networking systems and protocols, including design and implementation of network deployments
• Good Technical documentation experience
• Database support & administration (MS SQL, MySQL)
• Programming/scripting knowledge
• Exposure to Multicast Traffic
• Ability to work with numerous network device Manufacturers
• Firewall/security experience a plus
