Prior FSCJ student promoted and now an internship opportunity for another network intern. This is a paid internship $9 to $15 an hour. Here is a description:

As a Technology designer (Intern), you will gain a deep knowledge of drafting and designing the gamut of technology systems in a building, such as: Voice/Data, Professional Audio/Visual, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Networking, Paging, Sound Reinforcement, Nurse Call, and other rapidly changing technologies. You will work to provide unique and dynamic technology and industry specific solutions that change from project to project.

Some of the duties/tasks are listed below:
Develop building technology systems, including Audiovisual, Telecommunications and Electronic Security systems.
Will work in tandem with project lead in product research and review to meet client and project requirements
· Grow an understanding of how to read plans and specifications
· Become familiar with design and construction processes
· Review and understand building codes and industry standards
· Performs AutoCAD/Revit system design and documentation
· Performs engineering calculations and equipment selection
· Develops drawings, manages drawing changes, and coordinates technology systems components with the architecture, internal and external engineering disciplines

Responsibilities:

· Ensure seamless implementation of large scale projects for Bank of America branch sites and Remote ATMs.
· Support high volumes of activity associated with simultaneous project efforts.
· Provide bulk project support involving potentially thousands of devices and sites.
· Provide repeatable process engineering and new installation implementation support.
· Provide central point of contact for resolution and escalation of issues experienced by field teams.
· Minimize aborts by providing real time implementation management, technical expertise, and guidance on installation issues as they occur.
· Interact daily with Project Management and the Bank on project performance and keep abreast of new requirements.

Specifics:
· Implement & configure Cisco routers and switches at Bank branches utilizing TACACS.
· Focal point for circuit installations and testing.
· Perform pre- and post-checks on equipment.
· Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues occurring during implementation.
· Lock down and backup routers and switches via HPNA.
· Apply dot1x to switches, modify ports as needed.
· Apply SSH to routers and switches
· Provide daily reports to management.
· Ensure clean turnover to production.
· Work directly with onsite technicians to install equipment.
· Review engineering CCPs and submit corrections to engineers.
· Work with Telco carriers on any circuit related issues and lead head-to-head testing.
· Troubleshoot any issues with BGP configuration.
· Capture post-change statistics for verification against pre-change statistics
· Contact ANS to restart affected ATMs
· Contact BCE support for post-change verification
· Check technicians on/off premise with SOACC security group
· Provide escalation to project team for any issues that require additional attention and/or direction

Responsibilities:

·         Receive and inventory incoming laptops and PC for servicing.

·         Order the required component, if not readily available.
·         Repair or replace the component that is defective.

Position Summary:

Manages and maintains information system technologies, including software, security, new device setup for employees, and IT help desk. 

Essential Functions:
·         Manages and oversees all aspects of information systems.  Develops and manages system security, including back up processes.
·         Analyze end-user’s issues thoroughly and provide accurate and user-acceptable resolution in a timely manner.
·         Records, tracks, escalate, and updates calls through established tracking systems.

Qualifications:
·         Associate’s degree in a related area required.
·         Minimum of 3 years of technical support experience required.
·         One to three years hands-on technical experience where knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g. TCP/IP, FTP, DHCP, Telnet, routing, and client/server computing) was demonstrated.
·         Excellent communications, problem solving and customer service skills required.
·         Experience with Win 8.1/10, MS Office 2013 is required.
·         Must possess a professional and customer service-oriented attitude.
·         Must be a team player with the ability to work independently.
·         Individual should be a fast-learner with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
·         Must be well organized and able to handle multiple tasks to successful completion.
