Description:

McCannon Technologies is looking to bring on an intern who is self-driven and has a passion for technology. Your main area of focus will be learning the basics of Systems Administration and more specifically working with the Linux OS. The ideal candidate for this role is one who is trainable and able to find solutions via research and asking questions. This role will require you to commit 40 hours per week.

Duties:

• Monitoring and responding to emails from multiple enterprises in a timely manner
• Troubleshooting server issues for RHEL and SUSE Linux distributions
• Researching and analyzing innovative methods of automation
• Building and maintaining enterprise servers

Qualifications:

• 2 years minimum coursework towards completion of bachelor’s degree in information technology or Computer Science (4 years preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Linux OS (creating directories, changing file permissions, assessing storage, etc…)
• Positive attitude towards learning new skills on the job.
• Reliable transportation

Compensation:

$350 – weekly stipend

 Responsibilities: Web Developer

• Day to Day management of inventory and content on WordPress Site
• Design, implement and maintain website enhancements
• Research SEO Options and makes content suggestions to drive site hits
• Build and maintain reusable, reliable, and efficient code

Social Media Management

• Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
• Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
• Work with brand to create and implement social media strategies monthly
• Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
• Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn
• Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others

Qualifications:

Must have strong writing skills and experience with developing content and managing Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn.
