The Design and Search Engine Coordinator will be working on graphic and website designs as well as social media designs. The intern will also help with logo design, evites, newsletter templates, and mobile platforms. The Design and Search Engine Coordinator intern will be trained on different aspects of design and search engine optimization. At the end of the internship, the intern will have gained valuable knowledge of various real world solutions and where to best apply them in their careers. The intern will have experience working in a team environment and will have developed strong, professional communication and organizational skills.

The intern is required to devote 20 hours per week to the internship and must have reliable access to the internet, and a computer with PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. In addition, the intern must have experience with Photoshop and HTML.

Time Required: 20 hours per week.
Location: work from home.
Term: This position is offered as a six-month unpaid internship and training will be provided. Upon the completion of the internship, an evaluation will be made to assess potential for a paid position.

The Marketing Manager’s responsibilities include making sales calls and emails. The intern will help maintain communications and schedule sales meetings and conference calls. The Marketing Manager will help to formalize the sales process and procedures by providing feedback and suggestions on the week’s sales efforts. The intern will be trained on various sales tactics and strategies. The intern will report to the Director of Marketing who will guide his/her sales training. At the end of the internship, the intern will have gained valuable knowledge about sales and customer service and how best to apply it in any industry. The intern will have experience working in a team environment and will have developed strong communication and organizational skills.

The intern is required to devote 20 hours per week to the internship and must have reliable access to internet. In addition, the intern must have excellent communication, writing, and computer skills. Bilingual and knowledge on social media are preferred but not required. No prior sales experience necessary.

Project Support Coordinator (PSC)

Job Title: Project Support Coordinator (PSC)

Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director

Summary / Purpose of Job:

The Project Support Coordinator is responsible to organize all aspects of projects from inception to completion. The PSC coordinates all elements of project orders with the factory, customers, sales team members, service support partners, internal and external constituents or any variety of stakeholders. He is also responsible for supporting customers in providing vital information. This function collaborates very closely with sales & marketing, engineering, production, and various corporate admin tasks, and allows the job holder to gradually develop, and to widen its operational management experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Performing as key project support function, and coordinate all important administrative, logistical, and technical details with colleagues and customers.

2) Understand each project thoroughly, plan, and monitor all necessary steps, project milestones, and organize all aspects of the project from start to finish.

3) Coordinate with the factory project & engineering teams to establish realistic estimates and timelines for each project.

4) Prepare reports, summaries, charts, graphs and PowerPoint presentations to facilitate and communicate projects and initiatives.

5) Coordinate vendor contract and subcontract preparation for various projects and initiatives; and assist in preparing and formatting written materials.

6) Attend project and initiative meetings, take notes and transcribe meeting minutes.

7) Maintain a designated project folder for each individual project, and manage good practice record keeping.

8) Break the project into milestones and determine set times as well as budget figures for each segment.

9) Communicate project status clearly and frequently with customers and the sales team, as well as with external vendors. Frequently collaborate with all stakeholders.

10) Monitor and ensure that all parts of the project (engineering, manufacturing, logistics, installation, and commissioning) are getting completed efficiently and are in accordance with the time schedule.

11) Develop detailed, clear and realistic project plans, estimates and schedules. Document all project requirements. Identify and coordinate team resource requirements, deliverables, and schedule technical work to be performed.

12) Develop internal & external project management procedures to establish best in class customer experience.

13) Monitor a number of project schedules simultaneously and coordinate with cross-functional team members which may include the factory and other external resources.

14) Assist in the development and ongoing review of project coordination tools and suggest initiative/project coordination revisions.

15) Answer phones, respond to inquiries (both verbal and written) and facilitate responses on complex issues; follow up with management to ensure requests are carried out and information is coordinated.

16) Coordinate schedules for equipment installation, communicate with customers, and organize plant start-up schedules.

17) Sporadically travel to the factory and keep up-dated regularly.

18) Occasionally travel to jobsites, meet customers, and assist with inspections.

19) Contribute to a pleasant and positive work atmosphere where all team members feel important and responsible.

20) Adapt to the diverse needs of a small team and address internal and external requirements with flexibility and creativity.

21) Perform other such tasks as needed and as requested by the President/CEO.

Domestic U.S. travel, mainly by air, (approx. 20 days per year).
Occasional overseas travel to Germany with long-distance flights (up to 10 hours non-stop).

Technical Support Specialist (TSS)

Job Title: Technical Support Specialist (TSS)

Reports to: Director Sales & Product Support

Summary / Purpose of Job:

The Technical Support Specialist deals mainly with customer support and problem solving. The TSS serves as the middleman, acting as troubleshooting administrator to answer the phone or e-mails, and to channel customer / operator inquiries to the proper specialists. The TSS takes part in coordinating all technical and operational elements with customers, troubleshooting experts, engineers, the factory, sales & project team members, service support partners, internal and external constituents or any variety of stakeholders. The TSS will also aid with power plant start-up and commissioning co-ordination, as well as supporting service & maintenance in general. He assists the multi-level product support network, and leading the company’s technical service efforts. The TSS will handle customer questions and operational technical issues as well as service coordination and support of the parts warehouse.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Be involved during the project implementation process, performing as technical support function, and facilitate all important technical details with colleagues and customers whenever support is needed.

2) Obtain general understanding of CHP system functionality and application operations related to company offered equipment.

3) Read technical documentation or manuals and regularly attend training to continuously learn about new product updates and developments.

4) Review completed projects (installed / commissioned equipment) to ensure that customers are obtaining the highest efficiency, utilizing the systems the most appropriate way, and that the installed products are utilized correctly.

5.) Monitor service & maintenance schedules, and notify customers, operators, service partners, and service management in reference to upcoming work to be scheduled.

6) Assist customers / operators and service partners to resolve system-related problems, such as inoperative equipment hardware or electrical controls.

7) Provide customer support and technical issue resolution via e-mail, phone and other electronic medium.

8) Find and communicate accurate solution to customer-report problems.

9) Monitor the configuration of customer’s equipment and observe, report, and initiate action wherever intervention is required.

10) Identify and correct or advise, on operational issues in client CHP systems.

11) Coordinate work projects, service jobs, and detailed technical trouble shooting with the appropriate experts throughout the organization.

12) Designate specialist staff assignments, establish work priorities, and evaluate cost and time requirements.

13) Confer with colleagues, customers and management to establish requirements for system modifications, and make recommendations for improvements.

14) Travel to customer job sites and take part in the professional unloading, equipment positioning, and assist with simple basic onsite assembly of equipment.

15) Inspect equipment and confirm correct delivery with order sheet.

16) Assist setting up equipment for customer use, and aid with proper installation of cables, piping, etc.

17) Observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.

18) Develop training materials and procedures, or train customers as well as team members in proper use of technical equipment.

19) Responsible for surveillance and monitoring of systems via remote control access.

20) Monitor all issues reported by the customer, watch for trends, analyze and evaluate issues to determine depth, possible reason, and severity, investigate potential solutions.

21) Prepare documentation for customers, includes quick reference guides, user/help documentation, etc.

22) Assist authorized service & maintenance partners with all technical questions, trouble shooting, diagnostics, and resolve technical problems.

23) Assist with parts supply and support local parts inventory warehouse.

24) Adapt to the diverse needs of a small team and address internal and external requirements with flexibility and creativity.

25) Perform other such tasks as needed and as requested by the President/CEO.
