As a member of growing Information Security Office team, the Information Security Intern assists other members of the team in the daily support of information security services including: monitoring and analysis, alerting, reporting of security events, and metrics collection. In addition, this position assists in development and maintenance of Information Security Office in policy, standards, and guideline, metrics, training and awareness materials.<\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\nResponsibilities Include<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist members of Information Security Office team in reviewing information security intelligence, setup alerting and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain information security training, brochures including maintaining the Information Security Office internal documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare information security awareness and training materials and training for disbursement throughout the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in design, and launch of innovative information security features and products that are aligned with business needs<\/li>\n<li>Provide usability studies, research and analysis into information security products technical and business requirements<\/li>\n<li>Proactively seeks awareness of information security vulnerabilities and threats and makes recommendations for risk mitigation.<\/li>\n<li>Research and prepare reports on new information security standards and technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Document information security guidelines and step-by-step operational procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare compliance and metric reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information security data.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties and responsibilities as requested or assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Actively pursuing Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge in computer, network, cloud and web security principles and practices.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with and work effectively with diverse groups of people.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint) skills.<\/li>\n<li>Exhibits the ability to explain technical security issues in layman\u2019s terms.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to react quickly to a fast-paced rapidly changing environment.<\/li>\n<li>Regular, reliable attendance is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Information Security Internship at AdTheorent Link: https:\/\/www.indeed.com\/viewjob?jk=a959e2c2bf6f0772&amp;q=Cyber+Security&amp;l=Jacksonville,+FL&amp;tk=1d9pur8bt3dkh805&amp;from=ja&amp;alid=576a8bb7e4b0f07a43faf74c&amp;utm_campaign=job_alerts&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=jobseeker_emails&amp;rgtk=1d9pur8bt3dkh805 Position Overview: AdTheorent is currently seeking a highly motivated Information Security Intern to join its Jacksonville, FL team.
