Either Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Wednesday will be the swing day every other week.<\/p>\n<p>Link: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teksystems.com\/it-jobs\/job\/US\/Jacksonville-FL\/Other\/Network-Operations-Engineer\/J3P5Z06D990GBNGY1VP\">https:\/\/www.teksystems.com\/it-jobs\/job\/US\/Jacksonville-FL\/Other\/Network-Operations-Engineer\/J3P5Z06D990GBNGY1VP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Must Have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3-4 years working experience in the role of network administration \/ network operations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a NOC environment, operational experience, experience with shift work<\/li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge on Cisco networking routing and switching products.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, Multicast etc.<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with LAN, trunking protocols, HSRP etc<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of firewall operations, CHECKPOINT preferred<\/li>\n<li>Previous Banking or relevant high pressure environment experience such as Pharma NOC<\/li>\n<li>Experience on active incidents, ticketing systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Preferred:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Checkpoint investigation experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience in banking environment.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with sniffers &amp; their use in troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of Riverbed, F5, Juniper, Proxies.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of ITIL framework.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Roles \/ Responsibility<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Need to perform 12 hours shifts (3 days week one, 4 week 2) and on-call escalation<\/li>\n<li>Act as a single point of contact for technical escalation during shift hours.<\/li>\n<li>Do shift handover with remote &amp; on-site team.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in resolving, troubleshooting &amp; leading networks related issues.<\/li>\n<li>LAN\/WAN, architecture and troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Have full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Have basic understanding of sniffers and how to use the sniffer for troubleshooting purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Engineering level knowledge or diploma with CCNA &amp; CCNP certified preferred but not required.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Network Operations Engineer via TekSystems For the L2 Engineers- Assume 3 days one week and 4 days the next week. 7am-7pm shifts.
