It is also required to be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers and time sensitive situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is to create value for clients that will help preserve the company\u2019s reputation and business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Walk the customer through the problem-solving process<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Provide accurate information on IT products or services<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Record events and problems and their resolution within a ticketing software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Follow-up and update customer status and information<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Tech savvy with working knowledge of remote support, basic networking, and hardware issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues over phone or email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Excellent communication skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Customer-oriented<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7 Degree in progress or obtained in IT, Computer Science or relevant field (CompTIA A+ is preferred) Resumes can be e-mailed to <a href=\"mailto:ltham@familycarepartners.com\">ltham@familycarepartners.com<\/a> for consdieration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As an IT Helpdesk Technician, duties include answering queries on basic technical issues and offering advice to solve them.
