Your main area of focus will be learning the basics of Systems Administration and more specifically working with the Linux OS. The ideal candidate for this role is one who is trainable and able to find solutions via research and asking questions. This role will require you to commit 40 hours per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duties:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Monitoring and responding to emails from multiple enterprises in a timely manner<\/li><li>Troubleshooting server issues for RHEL and SUSE Linux distributions<\/li><li>Researching and analyzing innovative methods of automation<\/li><li>Building and maintaining enterprise servers<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2 years minimum coursework towards completion of bachelor\u2019s degree in information technology or Computer Science (4 years preferred)<\/li><li>Basic knowledge of Linux OS (creating directories, changing file permissions, assessing storage, etc\u2026)<\/li><li>Positive attitude towards learning new skills on the job.<\/li><li>Reliable transportation<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Compensation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>$350 &#8211; weekly stipend<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit resume to info@mccannontech.com and to request an interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Description: McCannon Technologies is looking to bring on an intern who is self-driven and has a passion for technology.
