GENERAL SUMMARY<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n This part-time temporary position requires student enrollment in an Information Technology related program.\u00a0 <\/span>The position is responsible for providing technical support related to the installation, configuration, use, and management of approved hardware and software.\u00a0 <\/span>The incumbent serves as a front-line service provider to end-users to ensure the effective and efficient use of JAXPORT\u2019s computer systems.\u00a0 <\/span>Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues.\u00a0 <\/span>Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and\/or LDAP, Linux command line and OS, BASH, power-shell and experience packaging, deploying and updating desktop applications on Windows is beneficial for this position.<\/span><\/p>\n MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n Position requires current enrollment in an Information Technology related program (i.e., E.G. CS, CIS, CIT, EE) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.\u00a0 <\/span>Position requires strong communication skills, both oral and written.\u00a0 <\/span>Must be able to work independently and solve problems while focusing on customer\/end-user needs.
