As a Technology designer (Intern), you will gain a deep knowledge of drafting and designing the gamut of technology systems in a building, such as: Voice\/Data, Professional Audio\/Visual, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Networking, Paging, Sound Reinforcement, Nurse Call, and other rapidly changing technologies. You will work to provide unique and dynamic technology and industry specific solutions that change from project to project.<\/p>\n
Some of the duties\/tasks are listed below:
\nDevelop building technology systems, including Audiovisual, Telecommunications and Electronic Security systems.
\nWill work in tandem with project lead in product research and review to meet client and project requirements
\n\u00b7 Grow an understanding of how to read plans and specifications
\n\u00b7 Become familiar with design and construction processes
\n\u00b7 Review and understand building codes and industry standards
\n\u00b7 Performs AutoCAD\/Revit system design and documentation
\n\u00b7 Performs engineering calculations and equipment selection
\n\u00b7 Develops drawings, manages drawing changes, and coordinates technology systems components with the architecture, internal and external engineering disciplines<\/p>\n
