The Deerwood LLC is happy to help your students learn how to use the library and its resources! Consider bringing your class to the LLC for a 15-minute tour of the Learning Labs and library, or an hour-long orientation (including a tour) that includes instruction in using the catalog to find books and the library’s databases to find scholarly articles. We can also cover other topics including how to avoid plagiarism and how to find reputable web sources. If you let us know exactly what you’d like your class to learn we can work with you to make it happen!

If you would like to schedule a tour, please contact Alison McCarty at or 997.2562.

To schedule an orientation, please fill out the Orientation Request Form online, return a printed request form to the LLC, or contact Alison McCarty as above.
