Christopher Markham is a recent addition to the FSCJ family, as he has been with the College since 2014. Before coming to FSCJ, he spent four years in the University System of Georgia, and a combined 15 years of corporate and military experience; U.S. Army (active and reserves), first as an enlisted soldier in technical engineering and later as a commissioned officer at U.S. Army Signal Headquarters Military Intelligence. Chris has served in a diverse set of combined technology and administration leadership roles throughout his career in higher education, including Dean of General Studies and Chair of Information Technology, Dean of Online Learning and Director of IT, Acting CIO, and most recently, CIO here at FSCJ.

He has an A.A. in General Studies from Macomb Community College, Detroit, MI, a B.A. in Business Administration from Northwood University, Midland, Michigan, and a master’s degree in Economics with a focus in IT portfolio management from the University of Detroit Mercy, Detroit, Michigan. Chris is married with two sons, currently ages 9 months and 7 years old. Both he and his wife love traveling to new places, binge-watching Netflix and new technology gizmos. A dedicated lifelong learner, Chris enjoys exploring and constructing research in his field, writing and disseminating his findings at conferences and journals such as ISECON.
