Terence has been working for FSCJ for the past 23 years. During his tenure at the college he has served as an Advisor I in Student Activities, Academic Advisor, Enrollment Services Coordinator, and Campus Enrollment Leader. In his current position as Student Success Manager at South Campus, he provides leadership to the campus Welcome Center and is primarily responsible for academic advising, registration, records, admissions, and financial aid. He has also served as an adjunct instructor for more than 10 years.
Terence worked at the Gainesville Chamber Commerce prior to coming to FSCJ. However, he has always had a passion for working with people, so Student Services was a natural fit as acareer choice. He has been in Higher Education since.
He recently received a National Leadership Award at the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) conference from the National Council on Black American Affairs (NCBAA) affiliated council. He currently serves as Southern Region President and on the National Board of Directors for NCBAA. He also received the Leadership Award from APC last year.
He is a proud Gator graduate from the University of Florida and holds an MBA from University of Phoenix. He is married with one son and two daughters.
