Tiffany Hunter

Tiffany came to Florida State College at Jacksonville as an Assistant Professor of Education at South Campus in August 2011, after more than 10 years working in the early childhood field in North Carolina. In August 2012, she began her new role as the Dean of Education on the Downtown Campus. Her career in early childhood education includes being a public school teacher for four years and teaching in higher education in both 2 and 4-year degree programs.
She received a B.A. in Political Science from UNC-Greensboro, an M.A. in Birth-Kindergarten Education from Lenior-Rhyne College, an M.S. in Education from Capella University, and a Ph.D. in Leadership for Higher Education from Capella University.
Tiffany currently serves as a Peer-Reviewer for the National Association for the Education of Young Children and serves on several Early Childhood advisory boards in North Carolina and Florida. Tiffany loves to travel, shop and all things associated with Disney. She currently resides in St. Augustine with her husband, Calvin and their two sons, Logan and Landon.
